Winter 1902 Builds and Disbands

England builds a Fleet in London

Austria disbands the Fleet in Albania

Italy (CORRECTED)
Fleet Naples
Army Venice
Russia failed to submit disbands: they are as follows:
Fleet Black Sea

(Just so you know, Redscape House Rules stipulate the default disbands are to be furthest from home territory, non-home supply center first. Russia had 3 candidates: Galicia, Black Sea and Gulf of Bothnia. In the event of a tie, RHR says go alphabetically. This means Fleet Black Sea was chosen - one good reason to submit orders even for disbands!)

Spring 1902 results

What a mess.

Sorry for the delay in adjudication. We filmed a TV pilot in my kitchen last night.

Back to the game: what a mess. Let me just say I am very disappointed in two players. I have made clear in several ways that I would prefer if preliminary orders are sent in. The reason for this is life happens, to all of us. You can't wait until the last minute in this game to send in orders, because something will come up. I am not going to hold up this game for people who simply will not heed warnings. It is not hard as soon as you receive the results, to knock together some orders for the next season and send them out. This was worst case, you will at least do something instead of NMRing.

Results are below: Austria and Russia NMR.

Austria:
Fleet Albania goes fishing
Army Budapest searches for vampires in the Carpathians
Army Greece constructs an Alexandrian Theme Park
Army Vienna goes to the Opera

England:
Fleet Denmark Supports Army Norway - Sweden
Fleet Edinburgh sails for the North Sea
Fleet London Supports Fleet Edinburgh - North Sea
Army Norway conquers Sweden, driving the Russians into the Baltic's black waves
Fleet Norwegian Sea dodges icebergs on the way to the Barents Sea

France:
Fleet Brest moves up the coast to Picardy
Army Paris Supports Army Ruhr - Burgundy
Fleet Portugal once again sails the Mid-Atlantic Ocean
Army Ruhr pulls back to Burgundy
Army Spain returns to the home soil of Gascony

Germany:
Army Belgium Supports Army Kiel - Ruhr
Army Berlin has a hangover from the Christmas party
Fleet Holland builds dykes as a public service
Army Kiel secures the Ruhr Valley
Army Munich plans an elaborate Oktoberfest

Italy:
Fleet Ionian Sea plies the waters of the Eastern Mediterranean
Fleet Naples charts the Ionian Sea
Army Serbia Supports A Greece - Bulgaria (*Void*)
Army Tunis enjoys North African delights in the Hashish bar
Army Venice ventures south to Trieste

Russia:
Army Galicia goes mountain climbing
Army Rumania goes spelunking
Fleet Sevastopol has a regatta
Fleet St Petersburg(nc) arranges midnight sun excursions for randy tourists
Fleet Sweden refurbishes its cabins at Ikea (*Dislodged*)
Army Warsaw contemplates its navel

Turkey:
Army Ankara considers overthrowing the Ottomans, but thinks better of it
Army Bulgaria breathes a sigh of relief
Fleet Constantinople examines ancient ruins in the Aegean Sea
Army Smyrna parties in Constantinople

Retreats:
Russian Fleet Sweden may retreat to Finland or the Gulf of Bothnia or Off the Board.

Please advise by 6am tomorrow (or ASAP - I will post as soon as I receive it). I am making an exception to the normal 12pm retreat deadline because I want to give at least one evening to think about hte retreat.

Again, PLEASE SUBMIT PRELIMINARY ORDERS!
